This is my second pair of these - I use them for commuting and for working out.

The sound is good and they stay securing in place during workouts (unlike typical earbuds)

I have been using similar styles to the Skullcandy Chops Hanger Earbuds for years now. I've tried Sony Clip-on In Ear headphones, JVC Sport Ear Clip, and Philips Ear Hook headphones. Philips had slightly better sound quality that was barely noticeable, but a loose fit. On all three Sony that I tried, one of the ear pieces lost sound and couldn't be fixed. Skullcandy has an adjustable ear piece to suit what's comfortable for you and has a long cord which makes it easy to loop through running clothes. I would definitely recommend these for exercise/running, though if you're purchasing strictly for sound quality purposes, I would suggest looking into another brand or style.

The sound in these is fine. They're somewhat comfortable but tend to start hurting my ear after prolonged use. My biggest problem is that the rubber rings securing the speakers to the earpieces constantly fall off and I have to put them back on. Several times all it's taken to cause it to fall off is me taking them out of my ears and the rubberbands go flying. If you buy this product, get some superglue and earbud cushions too.
